Prices for 2010 are being adjusted to reflect recommendations on Artist fees made by The National Association of Visual Artists.

2009 was a lean year for our artists and the gallery. Despite the fact that our artists work received good reviews, was selected for exhibition in several exhibitions and positive customer feedback, we have all struggled to make ends meet. This has resulted in some excellent work being produced and our artists have made up for the lack of sales by increased creativity and technical skill. Hopefully 2010 will be a better year.

New Artists and a Change Over of Stock

Coming soon, new artists from Russia and Australia. These new artists will add to the variety of work accessible through the Gallery website. Our Russian artist will deal directly with purchasers, as we will not hold stock at our gallery.

Our stock has become stale and is in the process of being turned over. Our focus in the new stock will be on smaller, representational works. The pricing of the works will reflect our lower costs and desire to enable collectors to build on previous purchases.

Mortimore Prize Entry Forms

We have had several enquiries about entry forms for the Mortimore Art Prize. This is a link to the Australian Art Sales web site, which is the location for forms and information on the Prize.

The Gallery now accepts PayPal and Credit Card payments

Credit Card transactions are handled by PayPal. We have terminated accepting other forms of payment. Don't forget that our prices include post and packing within Australia.

It is not necessary to join PayPal to pay by credit card. We use PayPal to have the resources of a credible large scale firm protecting the security of your information.

Transporting Works

The gallery uses Australia Post for small items within Australia and . Packaging for this type of dispatch is similar to that provided by Amazon UK, strong corrugated cardboard pre cut to add extra support.

Works that can not be sent through Australia Post are sent through Pack and Send our preferred transport firm with expertise in transporting art works. We use Pack and Send both in Australia and Internationally.

For transporting works to some art prizes we use Artcare. For artists looking for transport to exhibitions take a look at ArtCare's website and subscribe to their news letter to see which exhibitions they cover (an excellent source of info on upcoming art prizes) .

We do not send glass/ perspex with paintings or drawings as these materials are generally too fagile for freight or postage.

Physical Exhibitions

From time to time the gallery artists exhibit in physical galleries. A group exhibition is planned for the SOAG Gallery in September 2010. Our artists have entered in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2010, so are bound to appear at the TAP Gallery's Real Refusals exhibition (a joke that Australian artists know well, only 40 entries are hung in each of the prizes, so local artists take their refused work to the TAP Gallery that shows any entry not accepted).

Our artists are not tied to the gallery and are free to sell outside our gallery.

Recent exhibitions include the Christmas exhibitions at SOAG and TAP Galleries in 2009, Stanthorpe Art Prize 2010.
