Artists Profile

Marianne Beuzeville's travels in France, Belgium, Finland, South Korea, Greece and the Netherlands are constantly fuelling her work. The influence of European artists is reflected in her work but she retains her individuality of style and passion. Her work follows her immediate preference for subject matter, with a resulting even division between figurative and landscape, seascape works. Her use of colour in response to the subject sets her paintings subtly apart from paintings that apply response without deep reflection.

Marianne describes herself as not being a prolific painter. In 2008 she produced six paintings, which is consistent with her output over several years. These six works are less than 85cm by 85cm, though she has produced larger works with significant success.

Since her debut in the Second New Symbolist Exhibition at the TAP Gallery in 2006 her work has attracted the attention of the public at a number of venues.
